Family Friendly Recipes:
Summer Pork Kebabs

Ideal for summer bbq’s or grilling.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes (plus time for marinating)
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

600g shoulder or leg pork, cut into large cubes.
1 clove garlic, chopped finely.
2 tablespoons soy sauce.
1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar.
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder or 2 teaspoons of chopped fresh ginger
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon five spice powder (optional)

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Place all the ingredients, apart from the pork, in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the pork cubes and mix again to ensure that they are fully coated.
  3. Cover with cling film or a plate and leave for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  4. Place the cubes on a skewer and cook on a barbeque or under a hot grill.
