Recipes:
Pork Steaks with a Wine and Mustard Sauce

Cooking Time: 20
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

2 x Three Dales pork shoulder steaks or loin chops
1 x tbsp plain flour
1 x onion
5 tbsp single cream
2 tsp Dijon mustard
4 tbsp white wine

 

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Brown off the steaks / loin chops and sliced onions together in a frying pan with a little oil.
  2. Sprinkle with the plain flour and stir.
  3. Add the white wine and mustard and keep stirring until the four has disappeared.
  4. Cover and simmer gently on a low heat for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream.
  6. Transfer to warmed plates and serve with mashed potato and your favourite steamed winter greens.

    Tip: Keep stirring the flour to prevent the formation of any lumps.
